All life in Korth is made up of a corporal body and a soul. One cannot live without its counterpart, and so if at any time the body or the soul is damaged severe enough, death is the result. The body is necessary for sustaining energy from the physical world so the soul can continue its job, which is to give the body a decision-making consciousness so that it can survive in the world. 


Your spirit is the fundamental element of a soul that drives a person to control his or her surroundings. As the spirit grows stronger, you can learn to cast spells to manipulate your surroundings to suit your individual needs. At first (prior to a Spirit level 50), you may be met with failed spell castings. But with continued spiritual growth passed the 50 level mark, all of your deepest desires shall be transferred into powerful spells that can place the world at the caster's mercy for that momentary lapse of time.


To cast a spell that you have learned simply type the following command into open chat in world: /cast (insert spell name here minus the parenthesis) 


The following is a list of known spells in Korth:


Narrate
Costs 3 Mana & requires Spirit Level 2; Let's you send out your next line of speech as a world console message sent to everyone in the world, for example,  "The clouds begin to swirl above the heads of Flipz, Valuk, and Lady Rosalia as they are fishing..."

Weak Flight
Costs 5 Mana & Requires Spirit Level 1; Allows the caster 5 seconds of flying. This spell cannot be cast in quests, and flight is not allowed below 50 meters or above 100 meters.

Restore
Costs X Mana & Requires Spirit Level 2; Restores health points to the user based on twice the caster's Spirit Level. In other words, the higher your Spirit Level is, the more health the caster gains.

Heal
Costs 7 Mana & requires Spirit Level 27; Heals another individual in small increments (use by saying "/c heal name")

Cheer
Costs 10 Mana & requires Spirit Level 10; Cheers up your friends (use by saying "/c cheer name")

Fireball
Costs 16 Mana & requires Spirit Level 15; Creates a ball of fire energy directed to attack the intended victim (use by saying "/c fireball name")

Blind

Costs 25 Mana & requires Spirit Level 25; Temporarily blinds the caster and everyone in the vicinity.

Rejuvenate
Costs 25 Mana & requires Spirit Level 37; Heals another individual in large increments (use by saying "/c rejuvenate name")

Blind

Costs 25 Mana & requires Spirit Level 25; Temporarily blinds the caster and everyone in the vicinity.

Rejuvenate
Costs 25 Mana & requires Spirit Level 37; Heals another individual in large increments (use by saying "/c rejuvenate name")

Levitation
Costs 30 Mana & Requires Spirit Level 40; An improved version of the weak flight spell. This version of the spell has a 2 minute flight time instead of 5 seconds, and has a very nice particle effect when casted properly.


Desperation
Costs 30 Mana & Requires Spirit Level 20; When used, this spell inflicts a solid 60 points of damage by literally chucking your weapon at the enemy. Whatever weapon you are wielding when this spell is cast will be lost.

Dark Blade
Costs 33 Mana & requires Spirit Level 36; Invokes dark spirits to strike the intended victim with a large dark sword (use by saying "/c dark blade name")


Hydrate
Costs 45 Mana & requires 35 Spirit Level; Completely refills someone else's hydration (use by saying "/c hydrate name")
