Here is a list of updates, bug fixes, and general improvements made to the world throughout the month of January and since the last blog posting:

• Redone shorelines to allow for a better land to sea transition effect (no more jagged or zbuffering shorelines as the AW terrain often did), Thanks to Starheart for providing the models for this
• Bots have been downtime-free without any server crashes for 2 months now and still going strong
• Fountain of Youth quest was reinstated at the new GZ; Bump the well by the VWTV stand to teleport into this quest
• Two new Orc villages have been built to provide insight into the Orc cultures of Korth and allow for more higher-levelled huntables
• In addition to several huntables "migrating" to new locations, around 30 new huntables were either placed in world for the first time or reinstated
• Storyline moved from Chapter 4 (the Tir'anian Renaissance) to Chapter 5 (The Dragon Wars); the Dragon Wars is a continuation of an older storyine concerning the last five remaining dragons, who have now grown up, bred more species of dragons, and continuing the work of their ancestors in the old Dragon Wars; nation leaders become Dragon Riders to indicate that in this war between the Korthian nations, the leaders have this affinity with the dragons and to seperate this war from any other in that it is fought not just on land, but in the air on the backs of dragons
• Since the elven nation is taking a more isolationist approach resulting from the Dragon Wars, L'Obsul will increasingly become a new merchant town. So we will see two distinct merchant towns, selling different goods and services near the GZ. The Prolix Bank will also be returning soon enough
• Finally, several issues have arisen recently this past month. My only response is thus: Play nicely without trying to ruin others' fun by spewing hate speech. No one likes nor appreciates nor logs in everyday to hear hate speech regarding this world or Active Worlds Inc. Please refrain from spewing any forms of hatred within the world.
